Every kitten we sell comes from our own registered breeding cats. We publish their colors, dates of birth and parentage so you can see exactly what is behind the kitten you are buying. Ask to see the parents of any kitten you are considering, at any cattery.
Every cat here is screened on a genetic panel, and all of them are negative for polycystic kidney disease. That is the inherited condition buyers ask us about most. It shows on a DNA test, so there is no reason to guess at it, and we will send you the results for the parents of any kitten you are considering.
Every cat also tests negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Those are blood tests rather than DNA, so they say what a cat is carrying now, not what it passes on.

Why pedigree matters when you buy a Persian
A registered pedigree is a written record of a cat's ancestry going back several generations. It tells you the cat is genuinely purebred, it lets a breeder avoid mating close relatives, and it makes hereditary problems traceable rather than mysterious. Margo's line, for example, runs back through Maradan, Tombrock, De Shiraz and Boberan, all long established Persian catteries.
Ask any breeder for the pedigree before you pay a deposit. Registration bodies such as TICA and the CFA both publish their breed standards and registration rules publicly, so the paperwork is easy to verify.
