Privacy policy
The only personal information this site collects is what you type into our contact form. There is no tracking of any kind on this website: no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no cookies.
What we collect
One thing: the contact form. When you send us a message we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you chose to give one, which kitten you are asking about, and whatever you wrote in the message box. Nothing on this site collects anything else, and there is nowhere to make an account.
What we do with it
We read it and we answer you about a kitten. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it or hand it to anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
What this site does not do
- No cookies are set by this website.
- No analytics. We cannot see how many people visit or which pages they read.
- No advertising or social media tracking pixels.
- No session recording, heat mapping or fingerprinting.
- Nothing is stored in your browser.
Our Instagram and Facebook pages are ordinary links, and so are the product links on the supply list. Nothing is sent to any of those companies until you click one. Some of the product links are referral links, which means the retailer can tell that the visit came from us.
Companies that help run the site
Two other companies are involved in showing you this page, and each of them can see the IP address your browser connects from. That is normal for any website, but it is worth naming them:
- Netlify hosts the site and handles the contact form. Your message is stored in our account there and forwarded to us.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces the pages are set in.
How long we keep messages
We keep your message while we are talking with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us about the same kitten or a future litter. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Children
This site is meant for adults inquiring about a kitten, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact form and we will deal with it. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add anything to the site that changes what is collected, we will update this page and change the date below.
