I was very fortunate to find Exotic Stars cattery while I was on my hunt for an exotic shorthair. They responded very promptly and did a wonderful job answering all of my questions and providing care advice and product recommendations for bringing your kitty home. They seem like such a kind and loving family and when I went to pick up my kitten, you could tell the other cats there were happy and healthy. We are absolutely in love with our orange boy. He has a wonderful temperament and has been a little goofball from day one. I highly recommend Exotic Stars Cattery to anyone looking to get an exotic shorthair or longhair.

I purchased my beautiful cat Ollie from Exotic Stars, and I couldn't be happier. He's healthy, incredibly sweet, and was clearly hand-raised with care and attention. Grooming him is a breeze, he's so calm and trusting, which speaks volumes about how well he was brought up. Ollie is by far the best cat I've ever had. His temperament is amazing, and he adjusted to my home almost immediately. You can tell this cattery puts a lot of love and professionalism into what they do. I'll absolutely work with Exotic Stars again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality, well-socialized cat.

How to judge a breeder's reviews
Look for details a fabricated review would not contain: the cat's name, the year of purchase, a specific thing the breeder did, and a specific quirk of the animal. Then ask the breeder to put you in touch with a past buyer directly. Any breeder confident in their program will do it without hesitating.
We publish two reviews rather than twenty because these are the ones written by buyers who volunteered them, in their own words, with their real names attached. A page of thirty anonymous five star lines with no cat names in it tells you nothing at all, and it is trivially easy to write.
What both of them mention
- Temperament. Both describe a calm, affectionate cat.
- Grooming. Ollie sits still for it. We comb our kittens before they leave, so the routine is already familiar to them.
- Answers. Questions got answered before the sale and years afterward. Several of our families are on their second cat from us.

If you would like to speak with someone who has bought a kitten from us, ask. With their permission we will connect you. It is a reasonable thing to want before spending $1,700 or more on an animal you have not met, and we would ask for the same in your position.
